Insurance
Dr. Briggs is contracted with many insurance carriers and each has their own set of rules. The best way for you to know if she is a participating provider, what your benefits are and what your costs might be is to contact your carrier directly. Payment is expected at time of service unless arranged before the appointment. This is required by the contracts signed with the insurance companies.
Questions to ask your insurance company:
1) What is my deductible? How much has been met?
2) If there is no deductible, what is my copay?
3) How much coverage do I have for chiropractic?
4) When does the policy year end?
We are Preferred Providers with: (this does not reduce or negate the importance of knowing your benefits)
Blue Cross
Blue Shield/Regence
Medicare
Dakota Services (DAS)
Cigna
Pacific Source
Select Health (yes--even though their website does not list me!)
I am not a participating doctor with Aetna. They were purchased by another company and now I must pay to be contracted.
